Financial Aid Terms & Conditions
There may be financial aid ramifications for participating in PAAD. You are responsible for knowing this information.
By submitting your application to the program, you agree that you have reviewed the qualifications for federal, state, and institutional aid below as they relate to PAAD.
Please note that special rules may apply to how funds are disbursed, and/or whether graduate courses are allowable for undergraduate award programs.

Federal Title IV Aid – (e.g. Pell Grant, SEOG Grant, TEACH Grant, and Direct Loans) |
No | Only if they meet outstanding requirements for the major OR are approved to fulfill an unmet elective. Financial Aid must confirm before disbursement. |
12 credit hours | It is possible. Direct Loans can be received if enrolled for at least 6 qualifying hours. Grants are available for less- than-half-time enrollment. However, awards may be reduced. |
State Aid (e.g MTAG, MESG, and MS HELP) |
Yes | Yes | 15 credit hours (If a 600 level course is used to qualify, Financial Aid will manually disburse the awards since the course is not recognized as undergraduate.) |
No, unless approved for an exception by the state office. Students with 6-14 credit hours remaining to graduate may appeal for their last term only. |
