Not a traditional freshman or transfer student? No problem! These scholarships are available to apply for all qualifying students
Child of Faculty/Staff Scholarship
- Award Amount: One-half tuition per semester (full tuition per semester for those children of parents employed before July 1, 1977 )
- Eligibility: Students whose parents are full-time, permanent employees of The University of Mississippi’s main campus and/or its branch campuses.
- How to Apply: Print the application (PDF format) and submit to the Office of Financial Aid.

Freedom Studies Scholarship
- Award Amount: $2,500 per semester)
- Details: The Declaration of Independence Center is building a community of students with the character, passion, and talent to make a difference in the name of American Freedom.

- Deadline: August 28, 2024
Osher Reentry Scholarship
- Award Amount: Up to $2,500 per year ($1,250/semester)
- Eligibility: Students who are pursuing their first baccalaureate degree; have experienced a cumulative gap in their education of five or more years since High School graduation or attainment of GED; who are enrolled at least half-time, are US Citizens between 25 and 50 years old; and have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- How to Apply: Apply for admission to The University of Mississippi and complete online Osher Reentry Scholarship Application.
- Deadline: July 1st to complete the OSHER REENTRY Scholarship Application and students must have a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the Office of Financial Aid. Priority date is June 1st.

Sumners Scholarship
- Eligibility:
